Coombe is an understated, elegant nature grade European Oak that effortlessly uplifts any interior space. Shadow sawn and hardwax oiled, it’s a durable, easy-to-maintain floor with beautifully light tones and a subtle winding grain. We used 20mm nature grade slow grown European oak for these engineered extra wide and extra-long length planks. Nature grade oak includes a broad range of natural characteristics, such as knots, sap and colour variation. The end result is a floor that adds an extra feeling of texture and dimension to already great-looking wood. Coombe feels fantastic underfoot, and its subtle sawn style adds an eye-catching enhancement to any space. These planks have a hardwax oil finish, which is durable, natural and unrivalled. It combines oils which deeply penetrate the wood’s pores with a hardwax that is polished to a deep patina. This floor is FSC certified so you can buy it knowing that it is sustainably sourced from well managed forests. It can also be used with underfloor heating.
